The Government of Telangana has signed a groundbreaking agreement with Australiaโs Deakin University to set up the countryโs first dedicated Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (AI). This initiative will be part of the upcoming AI University at Future City, Hyderabad, marking a major step toward positioning Telangana as a global leader in AI-driven innovation.

Key Highlights of the Agreement
Centre of Excellence in AI will focus on developing globally competitive, highly skilled professionals.
Targeted sectors include governance, healthcare, education, IT, life sciences, agriculture, critical minerals, and rare earth metals.
The Deakin Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute will jointly operate the Centre with Telangana, ensuring advanced skill development and cutting-edge research.
